Okay so since the traveling is done,,, does this even count as a ‘travel’ log? Whatever.
okay so Assassins Creed was a lot of fun. I am happy I finished it before I left for Costa Mesa. Though playing it for three hours Sunday before I left may not have been the greatest idea ever. I arrived here around 4pm on Sunday and I wanted to walk around to scout out places to eat and see what the place looked like. It was kind of cool and over cast, I only brought one warm layer, a hoodie, medium gray. I also brought a knife,, why? Because I always have a knife,, or almost always.
So I was wandering around and I found the building where my training is taking place. There is a nifty little park in the back now when I found it it had started to rain,, so my hood was up,,, as I was walking around a security guard walked out and I knifed him imagined my alert meter going from solid white to kind of yellow so I walked around a terrain feature to break his line of site then I berated my self for playing the stupid game to much.
I was walking around clutching my knife in my left hand in my pocket and I realized I couldn’t use it left handed with much skill. I also realized that the odds of being run over by a BMW being driven by a caffeine addicted buisness woman on her cell phone late for a power lunch date were MUCH greater than needing a knife here,, other than to open my sandwich at lunch. again I felt silly for having the knife. I took these pictures though,,, they made me feel cooler.

right,, I have issues I am aware of this and I am okay with it. Mostly.
I also saw a roach booking away from the hotel,, that worried me a little. I mean I am aware that keeping roaches away from any large food prep area or a place that generates as much waste as a hotel is probably difficult. It was running AWAY though,, that is troubling,, also it was easily two inches long. I took a picture but it is boring.
I had bao, steamed pork buns, they were SUPER tasty. I am getting more tomorrow.
So tomorrow: lying signs and dirty looks.
and the day after: over heard tears and the most awesome morning.
I am also going to try the Italian Tomato tomorrow, it is a Japanese-Italian cuisine how exciting! (yes in addition to the pork buns,, mmm pork buns)
PS happy St. Patric’s day! go convert some heathens to Christianity. Just make sure they aren’t rich or they’ll go to hell. My instructor likes to say ‘ya’ll’ it’s sort of frustrating.
