I am writing this yesterday,, spooky. I am preparing this in advance as I hope to be in Disneyland when I would ordinarily be posting this. I hope to keep writing here after this trip. It is amazing the things I can get up to when don’t have video games to distract me. I do have a pretty damn good book with me. I got it for my birthday and it is really good so far and so far is page 180 of 312.
The last thing I want to say about Sunday: I was in Macy’s looking at suits and dress shoes (I need some brown leather shoes) when I observed a very cute female employee on her cell phone. Her body language was such that I could tell she was in some distress. I was not close enough to eavesdrop (no I didn’t sit on a nearby bench,,, there wasn’t one) so I went about my business. As I was leaving ( I bought a tie) I could hear her breaking up with her boyfriend. I thought a bout following her and trying to comfort her. But I thought I had been creepy enough without following some poor distraught girl around.
Yesterday morning was awesome why? Partially because I expected it was gonna be, partially because breakfast was a rice ball (with a plum!) there was also free coffee and I got to sleep in (until 7! wow! ) and I had people to talk to in the morning,, it was nice. NAY it was AWESOME!
By the time this posts I will have been at Disneyland for a little while. I am especially looking forward to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I think the moral of this story is: expect to have a good time and you will.
Class yesterday was fun we are designing user interfaces and it is SO easy it boggles the mind. It is giving me new found respect for PeopleSoft though I had no idea it was as robust and funtional as it is. I mean anything that gives totally non-technical people the ability to interface, safely, with a database is pretty cool. I know there are things it DOESN’T do well but regardless of that it does many thing VERY well. This isn’t necessarily propaganda either as none of this stems from anything they have told me it’s just the truth.
okay tomorrow Di$neyland and it’s almost over
day after: IT’S OVER and recap
I am not liking the hilton very much. The internet isn’t free. Other than that though it’s nice the room is one of the larger hotel rooms in which I have stayed and the staff is friendly.
